About Us

The African Baptist Ministries (ABM) is one of several revaluing organizations of intercedes for Africa, concerned mainly with issues of church leaders, Ministers, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers and Missionaries standing and ministering in their rightful places in God’s prophetic plan for Africa and Canada.

ABM is a Registered  non-profit Christian organization with 1021583-0 as Incorporation Number in Canada, established to preach, to share the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Ministry started in Butare – Rwanda in May 1992. As our focus was to reach out to the world, we opened  branches  in Kenya (1995), South Africa (1999), Tanzania (2002), Kingdom of Lesotho (2003), Zambia (2004), Malawi ( 2005) , Kingdom of Swaziland (2007), Burundi (2008), Mozambique (2009), Philippines, Pakistan, India, Canada (2010), South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo – DRC (2012).

The mission of the African Baptist Ministries Inc. in Canada  is to promote civil society by uniting  and strengthening  the  NGO sector  to enable it to influence  development  policy  and advocate  for our  program, that meets  the needs  of the poor people, orphans, street children as well as training programs such as HIV/AIDS, in the best possible way and at the least possible cost.

:: OUR OBJECTIVES ::

  • In order  to Achieve our objectives, the African Baptist Ministries  in Canada Inc, together with its members , wants to develop African countries  and reach out  to some Canadian communities which are in  need and share  the Gospel of  hope through all nations.
  • Our objectives include helping new immigrants with resettlement information in the language they can understand best. We assist them find affordable shelter, food, clothing, healthcare, vocational training etc…)
  • To continue to preach Christianity and educating people in preventing the occurrence of promiscuity about cultures and about self-preservation.
  • To specify the role and the love of God in the people’s life.
  • To create an atmosphere of love and reconciliation which is the key to both individual and communal peace.Providing rehabilitation assistance to addiction cases and  affected youth.
  • To establish Bible schools, colleges and any other educational institutions.
  • To organise and facilitate Christian Rallies, training, seminars, conferences and camps.
  • To develop any land and building acquired, to support  poor people , adult and  childre, to provide professional counseling against HIV/AIDS.
  • To provide basic needs, health facilities and access to education.
